Switching Gears

Today was a get together of painting people at the Sr. Center and I started a pastel. I first coated Wallis paper with a Burnt Scarlet w/c wash. It’s a very nice fall scene. Probably won’t work on it till next Monday though.

Gee, looking at a smaller version it has a nice abstract quality. But, I think it’s going to be realistic. This photo isn’t too good on color–taken under fluorescent lighting
