When the weather was nice and warm a couple weeks ago, I couldn’t resist not getting out and trying to pour on Tyvek that was cradled in a piece of heavy cloth, and in a large size. Put the cloth on an angle with a fold in one side of it, and used regular fluid acrylics that I diluted ab out a fifth more with water–just a little bit more. Here’s the first one–I haven done anything more with it yet, but have already plans for it. Doesn’t it look like a big flower?
Here’s another one that I did that same day, but more traditionally in a flat position with slight manipulation as it dried.
This is the one I’ve been working on the past couple days. And it now looks like this:
I haven’t found any shapes or anything that will suggest a title at this point. I want to put some more details in before eliminating those parts that are sort of blah.
One other piece of business–I’ve been working with my new camera and taking a photograph every day for posting on my photo page at the Opera community. Here’s the link: http://my.opera.com/Blackcalla/albums/
The link also is in my blogroll just to the right of the main column here.
