Beautiful card and nice technique
EDIT: Oh, and Merry Christmas :psmurf:
That is gorgeous! :sing:
Thanks Sami and Tim. 🙂 The actual painting, about 22×16" (56×40.6 cm) is much nicer than the picture. Cameras have a hard time reproducing blues and purples true to color, as did this one. 🙂

Seems to me that i remember film having the same problem with purples. Haven't come across any explanation yet, but will have to look into it. 🙂

Thank you very much Sami, for doing the leg work. That's an excellent reference, and deserves close study. 🙂 Thanks.
You are welcome 🙂

Thanks Jill, glad you like it. 🙂
Excellent Merle :wizard:
The star is that the star that the tree wise men followed?
Thanks, Thomas. 🙂 Yes, and notice the three wise men at the lower edge just to the left of center. And above them are the shepherds. And, the star is resting over the stable, at it's very low edge.
Ohhh very nice Merle :star:
This painting should make an easy sale 😀
